Owner

Hi, I’m Amanda, the owner of The Westfield Pet Sitter. I started this business after realizing how hard it was to find someone I could truly trust to care for my own bulldog. That experience stayed with me, and I wanted to become that dependable, caring person other pet parents could count on when they can’t be home.

Since then, I’ve cared for just about every kind of pet imaginable, from shy rescue cats who need quiet patience to playful golden doodles who think “obedience” is optional. Each one has their own personality, and I love meeting them where they are. My most memorable experience was caring for a French bulldog in hospice care. That time taught me how powerful compassion and consistency can be and that sometimes the smallest comforts make the biggest difference.

Before every new client, I offer a free meet and greet. It’s my chance to see exactly how a pet parent cares for their fur child, how they give medication, their routines, and even their tone of voice so I can match it perfectly. Every detail matters. I use Time To Pet, a client management system that keeps everything organized: GPS-tracked walks, real-time updates with photos, notes, and scheduling all in one place. It’s part of how I stay professional, transparent, and reliable for every family I serve.
I’m constantly learning through online education and experience in the field, staying up to date on animal behavior, enrichment, and anxiety management. I’m not just a pet sitter, I’m an extension of your care. My promise is simple: I’ll do everything in my power to take care of your pet exactly the way you do.

When you trust me with your fur child, I take that responsibility personally. You deserve peace of mind and your pet deserves to feel loved, safe, and understood.
